Do You Love Football?! Gio Valiante. Fencing: Skills. Football - Bloody Hell! Harley Quinn Vol. Indestructible Hulk Vol. Injustice: Gods Among Us Vol. John Constantine, Hellblazer Vol. Lighten Up! Marvel Universe Vs.
Winters, PhD. Marvel Vol. Willow Wilson. New Suicide Squad Vol. Saga Vol. Spartan Fit! Transform Your Mind. I loved both main characters. Jayden was wounded and suffering after the Everest disaster and I felt for her and hoped that she would find her happy every after.
Rhian found it hard to believe in herself and needed to see that she was an person worth of love and adoration.
There was a fair amount of tension in the story as we followed the escapades of the contestants on the reality show. And a boo-hiss character that I can guarantee you will hate. It was an addictive story and one I was reluctant to put down. I hope Andrea Bramhall has a sequel in the offing! Jayden Harris is an expert mountain climber who after an avalanche loses more than her passion and desire to climb.
She turns her back on her love, the mountains, and her family. Rhian Phillips is a marketing executive who is chosen by her mother to produce and runa TV show on climbers. The beginning of these women was not the best since Jayden feels Rhian made her do it. But their relationship develops beautifully. They start having feelings for each other but thinking the opposite about the oher one. I have read many, many romances and the love declaration in this book is one of the sweetest I have read in a while.
We can find everything in this book, suspense, fear, from hatred to love, from sadness to happiness. The surroundings are so beautifully described that I would love to visit that place some day and the characters so strong, so real, that I would have loved to have some of them in front of me and smack them.
I totally recommend this book. I received an ARC from the publisher for a honest review. Received this book as an ARC This is a beautiful story and the setting is absolutely gorgeous. The author did a really good job with the story line. I have never been a big fan of reality television, normally I stay far away from anything of the sort. The beginning of the tale is heart-wrenching, but it only made me want to know more about one of the main characters. The story revolves around Jayden Harris climber and Rhian Phillips marketing executive.
A climbing competition with the mountains of Patagonia as the backdrop, Jayden and Rhian have to find a way of getting their jobs done whilst family drama and a hard ass boss make things interesting behind the scenes.
The secondary characters and storylines add this great adventure story. I would call this one an adventure story with a side of romance.
Highly recommend this book to all. I received an arc in return for an honest review. Carolyn McBride — December 2, :. The settings were so vivid! From the hotel to the slopes, I felt as if I was really there.
Sandra — December 7, :. A beautiful novel with a slow burning romance in an adventurous surrounding. The places and beautiful landscapes, where the novel takes place, were descriebed very detailed and pictorial. You want to go there, to see it by yourself. With scant water and little food, no jacket for the painfully cold nights, and the terrible knowledge that he'd told no one where he was headed, he found himself facing a lingering death-trapped by an pound boulder feet down in the bottom of a canyon.
As he eliminated his escape options one by one through the days, Aron faced the full horror of his predicament: By the time any possible search and rescue effort would begin, he'd most probably have died of dehydration, if a flash flood didn't drown him before that. What does one do in the face of almost certain death?
Using the video camera from his pack, Aron began recording his grateful good-byes to his family and friends all over the country, thinking back over a life filled with adventure, and documenting a last will and testament with the hope that someone would find it. For their part, his family and friends had instigated a major search for Aron, the amazing details of which are also documented here for the first time.
The knowledge of their love kept Aron Ralston alive, until a divine inspiration on Thursday morning solved the riddle of the boulder.
Aron then committed the most extreme act imaginable to save himself. Between a Rock and a Hard Place-a brilliantly written, funny, honest, inspiring, and downright astonishing report from the line where death meets life-will surely take its place in the annals of classic adventure stories.
