I viscerally hate online games that are advertised as free, then require the investment of funds to be competivie in any way. Good luck with the game, but I'm not sure I'll play a card game vistually, especially if I have to pay to be expecet to win.

As an additional comment about the free-to-play model, Takao is right, the typical model behind is that you are able to play the game without spending any money but the payers usually get more advantages than the non-payers.

We are a small studio and this will be our first big game, so we are going to adjust this model as much as possible so non-payers have as much advantages as the payers since we are looking to build more a community and a good customer relation rather than getting easy money, we are taking this really serious as we are overall gamers and tcg lovers and really want to make a good first impression!
